The club is starting up a
social Wednesday night mixed competition from 7pm -10pm
starting October 14th . If you are interested in
participating in this or know anyone else who is you can
contact Jo Walker on 83229619. Cost for this is
$5 per player/week

Tournament
The South Parkholme Tennis Club annual
tournament is coming up soon, entry forms can be found on
the clubhouse and are due before the 7th of March. All the
best and lets hope there are no more scorching hot days!
7th December 2008 - Christmas
Dinner
Santa
dropped by South Parkholme for an early visit, to greet the
players before Christmas. Presents were handed out to all
the good children before Santa took off in his special
Christmas ride.
25th October 2008 - Welcome BBQ
A great turnout from all junior and
senior players for the welcome BBQ even after matches were
cancelled due to hot weather. Lots of food and drinks were
consumed and players and there families were hitting under
lights late into the night.
11th October 2008 - Senior Season
Starts
The senior season has
started well with a great 30 deg day, perfect to get back
into tennis. results are up in the clubhouse. Team locations
can be found under players info - rosters section of this
site.
17th August 2008 - Open Day & AGM
A success AGM opened
by the Marion Council and headed by Ray Woodforde president
2007-2008 demonstrated the strength of players and the
commitment of players at the club. A great turnout with a
number of new faces elected to the committee, Maria Romeo
and Steve Branson, and Dean Caruso elected as president.
The social BBQ provided a great lunch and
ensured the winners of the 2007-2008 club tournament were
not given there trophies on an empty stomach.
